What to expect

You can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You can expect to find a place where creativity and fellowship come together to worship God in new and exciting ways. You can expect to be encouraged, challenged, convicted, excited and, most importantly, welcomed.

who we are

If you've been following God your entire life, you're welcome here. If you're new to faith, you're welcome here. If you're not really sure you believe in God at all, you're welcome here. No matter where you are on the road to faith, we want to walk alongside you. Our hope is that as you join us on the journey, you'll discover a God who is active, alive, and at work in your life.

We're a gathering all about knowing our redeemer deeper and living for Him more contagiously. We are a group of broken people who have simply handed those shattered pieces of our lives over to our Redeemer.  We walk through things, not around them. Our faith is built on a living God! Our goal, to meet needs! With joy we build our ministry on Colossians 1:28 as we proclaim Christ, pursue holiness and provide service to our church family and community.

REDEEMED AND RECONCILED

The passion of Epsom Bible Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked.

EMPOWERED TRANSFORMATION

Our vision is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation and new church formation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation.

COMMUNITY

We believe as a christian, we thrive and grow when we worship together. While we love meeting together on Sunday mornings, we believe that each person also needs time outside of the church auditorium to connect with other Christians. That's why our Belong Ministry is so important.

Worship

We love music. Expect to hear everything from hymns to the most recent contemporary music you hear on the radio. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.

what we believe

WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true God who exists eternally in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is equal in power and glory. God created everything, keeps everything going, and rules everything.

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the Word of God and was fully directed by Him. The original writings were without error. God's Word is the only guide for faith and living.

WE BELIEVE in God the father who is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. He mercifully concerns Himself in the lives of men. He saves from sin and eternal death everyone who comes to Him in faith through Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ. God's only begotten Son. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit in Mary while she was a virgin. He lived a sinless life and performs miracles that proved His teachings. He died in the place of all of us for our sin. He then rose again in His body and went back into heaven. Right now, He intervenes for His people. One day He will return to earth.

WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit who was sent from the Father and Son to declare everyone guilty of sin and earning God's judgement. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual life and strength to everyone who believes in Jesus by living in and through them.

WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by nature and by choice. The punishment for sin is eternal death in terrible pain. But God gives eternal life to everyone who turns from sin and trusts in Jesus. God gives every believer the Holy Spirit for the power to serve Him

WE BELIEVE that God's people are the true Church. The Church is the living body of Jesus, and He is the only one in charge of it.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus gave two practices for the Church

  1) Baptism by immersion as a testimony of our trust in Him

  2) The Lord's Supper, open to all believers, as a reminder of His death for us.

WE BELIEVE In the actual returning of Jesus to earth to set up His Kingdom. Everyone will rise from the dead in their body. there will be a final judgment and endless suffering for people who did not trust in Jesus. But there will be endless blessing and joy with God in Heaven for everyone who has accepted God's free gift of salvation.
